İNFORMAL ÖĞRENME KAVRAMI: TARİHSEL GELİŞİMİ, KAVRAMSAL SINIRLARI VE KURAMSAL DÖNÜŞÜMÜ
Özet
Bu bölümde informal öğrenme kavramının tarihsel gelişimi, kavramsal sınırları ve kuramsal dönüşümü bütüncül bir bakış açısıyla ele alınmaktadır. İnformal öğrenmenin deneyim, yetişkin öğrenmesi ve yaşam boyu öğrenme düşüncesindeki kökenlerinden hareketle, formal ve non-formal öğrenmeyle ilişkisi incelenmekte; kavramın kendine özgü boyutları tartışılmaktadır. Bununla birlikte deneyimsel ve yansıtıcı öğrenme, informal ve rastlantısal öğrenme, sosyal katılım, uygulama toplulukları ve iş yeri öğrenmesi yaklaşımlarının informal öğrenmenin kuramsallaşmasına katkıları değerlendirilmektedir. Sonuç olarak informal öğrenmenin, formal eğitimin dışında kalan ikincil bir alan olmaktan çok, deneyimsel, sosyal ve bağlamsal süreçleri kapsayan çok boyutlu ve yaşam boyu öğrenmenin temel bileşenlerinden biri olduğu vurgulanmaktadır.
