Özet

: In this study, Phlomis sieheana Rech.f., P. armeniaca Willd., P. pungens var. laxiflora Velen, species belonging to the Lamiaceae family were subjected to maceration and ASE procedures to get extracts. Then, a reversed phase high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC-DAD) was developed and validated for the determination of eleven major phenolic compounds - gallic acid (GA), protocatechuic acid (pCtA), p-hydroxybenzoic acid (p-HBA), chlorogenic acid (ChA), vanillic acid (VA), caffeic acid (CA), syringic acid (SA), ferulic acid (FA), rutin, rosmarinic acid (RA) and trans-cinnamic acid (t-CIN) - in the extracts. The chromatographic separation of the polyphenols was carried out by HPLC. Validation of the procedure showed that the coefficient of determination (R² > 0.99), linear range (mg L-1) (8.00 × 10-6 – 8.00 × 10-5 M), LOD (2.28 × 10-6 M to 7.36 × 10-6 M), LOQ (1.02 × 10-5 M to 9.21 × 10-6 M), repeatability (RSD < 2%) indicated a linear, sensitive, accurate, and precise analytical method for the simultaneous chromatographic determination of the phenolic compounds. The established HPLC-DAD method can be upgraded or improved to determine phenolic compounds in different types of plants in the future. It can provide sufficient confidence for the identification and quantification of particular polyphenols.
